Primitive Reference: Cone

Description

This is one in a series of "primitive" 3-dimensional shapes that I've created as reference points for traditional methods of coloring. Each object in the series is depicted in both Isometric and Dimetric view, with the same environment, background, perspective ratio and lighting. I tried to show the rendered variance in the same object with different material properties.

This is a Cone.
Top Row: Polished American Beechwood
Second row: Brushed Steel
Third Row: Blue Glass
Fourth Row: Transparent Polycarbonate Plastic
Fifth Row: Cream-White Low Gloss Plastic

If there are any specific materials that you would like to see this, or any other shape rendered in, or rendered in an alternate type of environment or lighting scheme, feel free to ask.

Other Primitives:

Archimedian Spiral | Conical Spiral | Helix | Extruded diamond Spiral | Pentagonal Trapezohedron | Parallelepiped | Torus | Cylinder | Sphere | Cube

Rendered in SolidWorks 2008.
